The sunlight travels thousands miles away and hits the surface of the earth. The air is warmed up in some areas more than others. The pressure and temperature changed. So we have wind. The wind blows up the waves. The waves transporting the energy to land. The land and trees absorbs the water. And the cycles starts again.

The sun's rays hit the earth, and the earth reflects them back out. The light then records events that happened in a certain space and time of the earth. Although most of the light is absorbed by matter, a few are reflected deep into the universe.
